WHAT IS MAYN?

MARSHALL AREA YOUTH NETWORK BELIEVES THAT THROUGH MENTORING, CHILDREN CAN REACH EDUCATIONAL AND PERSONAL SUCCESS!

MAYN has been in existence for over twenty years and has a strong network of dedicated professionals and volunteers to share resources and address the needs of our community. MAYN is currently comprised of two employees; an Executive Director and a Program Coordinator, and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.  Many local area businesses and individuals collaborate with MAYN either through in-kind donations, volunteering as a mentor, or serving on committees.

Goals for 2017 include:

  • Increase mentor volunteers by 25%
  • New programs for High School students and Summer Programs
  • Publicize MAYN to become well-known in Marshall and surrounding communities.
  • Continue to have fun with children by providing positive role models.

MAYN is funded by the United Way of Wabash Valley, as well as through our community partners! You can read more about the businesses who help MAYN by clicking the link below.
